Japan’s Eco Marine Power (EMP) has entered into a new agreement with MINs Control System Solution to sell its renewable energy solutions into Singapore and Myanmar.

This includes EMP’s marine solar power systems and the Aquarius Management & Automation System (MAS), the alarm handling, monitoring and data logging system for ships. It’s able to monitor both fuel consumption and also calculate NOx, SOx and CO2 emissions.

Initially both companies will work towards promoting EMP’s technology to shipyards with a view to integrating the marine solar power solutions with the Aquarius MAS system to reduce fuel consumption and emissions on both ships and offshore support vessels.
