What is the aim Interreg Program?
The Interreg program has the purpose to help regional and local governments across Europe to develop a better policy. The final result must be the creation of cooperation, opportunities and innovative solutions to share, the final goal is to ensure that government investment, innovation and implementation efforts all lead to integrated and sustainable impact for people and place.
The actors involved
The Interreg program exists to assist three types of beneficiaries:
Interreg Central Europe Call of Proposal
The main purpose of Call is to promote the mobility of Eu Citizens across the borders with a budget of 60 million Euro from the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF); the call involved 9 countries: Austria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Germany, Hungary, Poland, Slovakia, Slovenia and Italy (Emilia-Romagna, Friuli-Venezia Giulia, Liguria, Lombardia, Piemonte, Provincia Autonoma di Bolzano, Provincia Autonoma di Trento, Valle d’Aosta and Veneto).

How will be apply the Co-Finances and the Deadline
The distribution of EU finance will be chosen based by the level of GDP of each countries:
The project duration will be from 24 to a maximum of 36 months, taking into account that the latest possible end date for a project is 31 December 2021.
The main challenges
The main challenges are related to the develop of innovative solutions called to solve contemporary society problems like: CO2 reduction, natural and cultural resources, and sustainable transport. The particular actions behind, it is to find answer thanks the cooperation and the share of information among the Central Europe: Citizens, Firms and Public Authorities, balancing the level of Know-How creating an Homogeneous Macro-Region based on the 4 fundamentals point indicated previously.
