TrainMoS II Post-graduate course: Maritime sustainability and MOS

The University of study of Genova UNIGE will deliver this course with the aim to deliver a basic knowledge on transport systems, maritime transport and MOS, and on environmental sustainability of maritime transport. The course will focus the following topics: - The relevance of MOS in the EU transportation system and TEN-T - An introduction to transportation systems - Maritime transport and MOS, port organization and port operations - Ship classification, ship design and on board apparatuses - ITS systems in maritime transport and MOS - Environment: Marpol convention, waste management, ballast water treatment, etc. - Energy management in ports and on board

English will be the official language and students spread in the 5 Member States will attend the classes in live web streaming through a dedicated IT tool. Contents will be then uploaded/made available in an ad-hoc e-learning platform for further consultation.

The course is free of charge,  earns 10 ECTS and is from 7th September to 18th September
