November 23rd 2015 officially started the Erasmus + ‘Building Logistics Education in Europe’ – BLUE dedicated to the sea economy.
The Erasmus + BLUE, lasting two years, aims to promote innovation and the improvement of the education and training.
The central theme of the project is the Blue Economy, this term means the economy tied to the sea, with regard to three key areas: transport – logistics – tourism. BLUE project aims to contribute to the development of a European Area of Skills and Qualification, making the knowledge triangle work and strengthening the profile of the teaching professions.
There are three main Intellectual Outputs within the project:
- IO1 - A Research relating to the professional profiles in the logistic sector (skills, training, certification models, market trends). You may find it in detail in the ‘Job List’, presented in this this.
- IO2 - Formulation of a sustainable governance model applicable in the countries of the partners. You may find it in detail in the ‘Model of Governance’, presented in this this.
- IO3 - Realization of a Multilanguage platform, available to teachers, business trainers, politicians that will collect the produced materials in order to help the students orientation and the job matching.
